Calvary Chapel Brentwood

Men’s bible study working through the book of Romans. We will be using Max Lucado’s Life Lessons series. Each man will receive a book to follow along in.

For the most part, we will be meeting on the the third Saturday of the month, but due to availability of the pavilion, we will occasionally meet on the 2nd or 3rd weekend. The schedule will be posted so we can plan in advance to attend.

When & where: 8:00 am at River Park on the corner of Concord Rd and Knox Valley Dr.

Coffee, bagels, and fruit will be provided.

The Youth Crew will be traveling to Fall Creek Falls State Park for a youth retreat and get away. This will include but is not limited to: driving to location, camping, fishing, cooking out, swimming, hiking, longboarding, playing ultimate Frisbee, team building activities, praise and worship and Bible studies.

*We will be leaving at 9am on Thursday morning and returning at 4pm on Sunday afternoon.** Make sure you have eaten breakfast on Thursday morning and BRING YOUR OWN SACK LUNCH.

What to Bring: Bible, journal & pen Sleeping bag Tent (if we need it) APPROPRIATE Sleepwear APPROPRIATE Bathing Suits(one piece/tankini or a non see through t-shirt over two piece) 4 days worth of clothes (maybe more) – We will be hiking and getting wet Flashlight Toiletries (there will be toilets and showers at the campsite)Bug Spray, Shampoo & Conditioner, Shower shoes, Sunscreen, etc. Coffee Mug (optional) Electronic Fast – NO iPods/MP3 players, Gaming Systems, Cell Phones, etc. (We can hold onto your phones so you can call your parents).

Mercy Ministries’ free-of-charge, voluntary, faith-based residential program serves young women from all socio-economic backgrounds, ages 13-28, who face a combination of life-controlling issues such as eating disorders, self-harm, drug and alcohol addictions, depression and unplanned pregnancy. Mercy also serves young women who have been physically and sexually abused, including victims of sex trafficking. Mercy’s goal is to help these young women find freedom from their issues and empower them to serve in their communities as productive citizens.

We are partnering with Mercy Ministries in asking everyone to donate $1 for each member of their household.
