God has shown me the power of prayer all of my life, but it wasn’t until I rededicated my life, several years ago, for the last time, that I understood where He was calling me. It was through worship that He revealed all that He has for me. Salvation is a gift from God and I am only saved by the Blood of The Lamb, but I know that all of the promises and blessings have come through obedience and worshiping Him, especially in the trials. (2 Corinthians 7:1) I am learning how to put off the flesh and praying that the desires of my heart are according to His Will. He has called me to a life of prayer and when I put Him first and resist the distractions, I see His miracles all around and I receive His blessings. I have not always walked with God and even though I have painfully regretted the bad choices that I made, I have allowed God’s forgiveness to wash me clean and I am able to forgive myself and encourage others to trust Jesus and give their life to Him. As Paul encourages us all to be, I am a bondservant of our Lord, Jesus Christ and I commit my life to Him, praying every day that I will resist any temptation to step off of the lighted path that He has just for me. (Psalm 119:105- 106, 165).
Zephaniah 3:17 – The Lord your God in your midst, The Mighty One will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.
To know that I am saved and my God, who loves me, unconditionally, is rejoicing over me with gladness and singing, is the most beautiful of all promises.
- Born and raised: Kyser, West Virginia (born) – moved a lot..(Wisconsin, Maine, Texas, Chigago), but grew up in Alabama
