Welcome to Calvary Chapel Brentwood’s prayer and praise page! It’s our desire to provide our friends a place to post prayer requests and praise reports for the edification of the body of Christ and for the glory of our God! We know by experience our God’s magnificent love and power toward us through His countless answer to prayer.
Come and hear, all you who fear God, And I will declare what He has done for my soul. I cried to Him with my mouth, And He was extolled with my tongue. If I regard iniquity in my heart, The Lord will not hear. But certainly God has heard me; He has attended to the voice of my prayer. Current Prayer Requests
My dad took my mom to the ER last night and she was admitted to ICU. She has been throwing up for several days and was extremely dehydrated. Her blood sugar was near “coma” stage. She is stable today and sleeping, but is expected to be in the hospital for several days. – Kathie, 12/21/11
Physical Illness
On 11.14 I shared a prayer request for friends who were badly burned in a house fire. Last night the dad, Delmer, went to be with our heavenly Father. Please pray for strength for his wife, Hannah. She has been enduring this battle for 36 days but last night Delmer’s suffering is no more. Please continue to pray for Tripp, their son. His condition is still touch and go. Pray she feels God’s presence at all times. – Jessica, 12/20/11

Physical Illness
A friend from high school (Delmer) and his son (Tripp) were badly burned in a house fire last night. It was a gas explosion and Tripp ran back in to get their dog. Delmer ran in to get Tripp and the house engulfed them inside. They have a 1-5% chance of survival. Please pray hard for them, the doctors, and his wife Hannah. – Jessica, 11/14/11

Thankful for the prayer and encouragement – I have a job! My mom, Marilyn, is doing much better. She is still at the nursing home for rehabilitation and therapy but doing very well with it!! – Barbara, 11/14/11

Missionaries
Please pray for the Lord to reveal His will to me, and for His financial provision. I’m a single, homeschooling mom of one child. We’re new to Nashville, and are currently living w/friends. We love this area, but would like to live in our own home. However, more than anything else, I really just want to be living according to the Lord’s will, and not my own. My goal is to be fully surrendered to Him in all areas of my life. I greatly appreciate your prayers in these matters! – Sarah, 10/5/11
