I grew up in a very moral and loving Catholic home that knew Jesus Christ as the Savior of the world, but didn’t fully comprehend Him as our personal Savior. As a junior in high school, I was never fully satisfied and was attempting to find fulfillment in drugs, relationships and success in sports. All this changed when I was not only introduced to the consequences of my actions, but to a more personal and caring Jesus Christ. My parents had begun seeking the Lord apart from the Catholic church, and when confronted with the fears of my own selfish choices, I chose to quit avoiding Jesus Christ and found out what it meant to have salvation, grace and a personal relationship with Him. Today I am continuing to strive after a deeper, more intimate relationship with Him and I am constantly blown away at his abounding grace, mercy and provision. Praise be to God!
